The Two Wolves
The study of manifestation and how it works for you is not like a complete idea. It grows and changes with your own psyche and your own growth. There are, however, some simple concepts that I am perpetually reminded of.
The old Cherokee proverb about the old man telling his grandson about the constant battle he has faced as a man to choose between darkness and light. He describes two wolves locked in battle, jowls dripping and drawn back to reveal the teeth of pearly white - the darker wolf representing darkness, bitterness, evil versus the white wolf who represents the light and is righteously fighting for truth, love, and peace... the boy is curious and asks, "Grandfather, which wolf wins?" The old man replies, "The one you feed."
This always plays in my head for the cinematic backdrop of my own cause and effect conversation.
